Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (KFST)

Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen (KFST), the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, is headquartered on Carl Jacobsens Vej in Valby, Copenhagen. KFST is responsible for enforcing the Danish Competition Act (Konkurrenceloven) and EU competition rules, reviewing mergers and acquisitions, and protecting consumers. Legal professionals at KFST investigate anti-competitive agreements and abuses of dominant position, conduct dawn raids, review merger notifications, and draft enforcement decisions that are appealed to the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal (Konkurrenceankenævnet).
