About Japan Financial Services Agency
The Financial Services Agency (FSA / 金融庁) is Japan's principal financial regulator, located at the Central Common Government Office No. 7, 3-1-1 Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, in the Kasumigaseki government district. The FSA supervises banks, insurance companies, and securities firms, and employs legal professionals who draft financial regulations, conduct supervisory inspections, and enforce the FIEA, Banking Act, and Insurance Business Act.
