Katende, Ssempebwa & Company Advocates (KATS) is Uganda's largest and longest-established law firm, founded in 1969 by John W. Katende and Professor Frederick Ssempebwa. The firm has over 60 full-time legal and support staff and is internationally ranked as the number one law firm in Uganda year after year by Chambers and Partners, IFLR 1000, and the Legal 500.
