Magyar Telekom is Hungary's leading telecommunications provider and a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG, headquartered at Könyves Kálmán körút 36, District IX (Ferencváros), in a landmark 100,000-square-metre campus near the Danube. Formed in 1989 and restructured as a public company in 1991, Magyar Telekom employs over 10,000 people providing fixed-line, mobile, internet, and ICT services nationwide. The in-house legal division covers telecom regulation, data protection (GDPR), EU digital services compliance, IP/TMT, and corporate governance.
