Malta Gaming Authority

The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is the regulatory body responsible for the governance and supervision of all gaming activities in Malta, operating from SmartCity Malta in Ricasoli. As the world's first dedicated iGaming regulator, the MGA licenses and oversees online and land-based gambling operators under the Gaming Act. Its legal and compliance division handles licensing applications, enforcement proceedings, responsible gaming policy, anti-money laundering compliance, and cross-border regulatory cooperation with EU and international counterparts.
