Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business

The Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business (MCRB) is a Yangon-based organization promoting responsible business practices and corporate governance in Myanmar. Operating from their office in the Inya Lake area of Yangon, MCRB works at the intersection of law, business, and human rights, conducting sector-wide impact assessments and providing guidance on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Their legal and policy team engages with Myanmar's regulatory framework including the Environmental Conservation Rules 2014, the Environmental Impact Assessment Procedure 2015, and labor rights legislation. MCRB collaborates with the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, civil society organizations, and international development partners to strengthen the legal and regulatory environment for responsible investment in Myanmar.
