Rimac Automobili is a Croatian electric vehicle and technology company founded in 2009 by Mate Rimac, headquartered at Kerestinečka cesta 54 in Sveta Nedelja on the outskirts of Zagreb. With approximately 1,300 employees and growing, Rimac is the manufacturer of the Nevera all-electric hypercar and provides high-performance electric drivetrain systems, battery technology, and electronics to major global automotive OEMs. The company also controls Bugatti Rimac, a joint venture with Porsche. Rimac's in-house legal team handles international IP and patent protection across multiple jurisdictions, complex joint venture and shareholder agreements, supply chain and manufacturing contracts, EU type-approval regulation under the General Safety Regulation, employment law for a rapidly scaling workforce under the Zakon o radu (Labour Act), R&D incentive programmes including EU Horizon funding, data protection and GDPR compliance across connected vehicle platforms, and export control regulations. Rimac is one of Croatia's most valuable private companies and a flagship of the Croatian technology sector, currently developing a state-of-the-art campus in Sveta Nedelja.
