About Royal Air Maroc — Service Juridique
Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is Morocco's flag carrier airline and the largest in the country, headquartered at Casablanca-Anfa Airport on Boulevard Moulay Abdellah Cherif. As a wholly state-owned enterprise and a member of the Oneworld alliance since 2020, RAM operates an extensive route network connecting Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America through its hub at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca-Nouasseur. The Service Juridique (Legal Department) manages aviation regulatory compliance with Morocco's Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile (DGAC) and international bodies including IATA and ICAO, aircraft leasing and acquisition agreements, airport slot negotiations, passenger liability claims under the Montreal Convention, crew and ground staff employment contracts governed by the Code du Travail and sector-specific collective agreements, commercial code-share and interline partnerships within Oneworld, and ground handling concession contracts. Legal professionals at Royal Air Maroc gain specialised expertise in aviation law, international treaty frameworks, and the regulatory environment governing Morocco's strategic tourism and transport sectors. RAM is undergoing a significant fleet modernisation with Boeing 787 Dreamliner acquisitions and route expansion into Sub-Saharan Africa.
