About Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA)
The Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) is the government agency responsible for enforcing, assessing, collecting, and accounting for taxes in Rwanda, established by Parliament under Law No 15/97 of 1997. The RRA employs over 1,000 staff and handles tax policy, customs, domestic taxes, and taxpayer services. The Legal and Board Secretariat Department handles tax litigation, legal opinions, regulatory compliance, and legislative drafting.
