Turkcell is Turkey's leading digital operator and the country's largest mobile telecommunications provider, serving over 35 million subscribers. The Turkcell Legal & Regulatory Affairs department, based at the Turkcell headquarters in Istanbul's Maltepe district, manages all legal functions including telecommunications regulatory compliance with the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), data privacy compliance under KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), commercial contracts, intellectual property, and employment law. The legal team also handles competition law matters before the Competition Authority, consumer protection compliance, and group company governance for Turkcell's subsidiaries in Turkey and internationally. Turkcell's legal department offers exposure to cutting-edge technology law issues including digital services regulation, fintech (Paycell), and cloud computing (Turkcell Bulut).
