WEKO/COMCO - Competition Commission

The Swiss Competition Commission (Wettbewerbskommission/Commission de la concurrence) headquartered in Bern is the federal authority responsible for enforcing the Federal Act on Cartels and other Restraints of Competition (KG/LCart). WEKO investigates anti-competitive agreements, abuses of dominant market positions, and reviews merger notifications across all sectors of the Swiss economy. The Secretariat employs legal specialists and economists who conduct dawn raids, market analyses, and enforcement proceedings.
