Internship Description

Linklaters is looking for an outstanding Italian law student in their final years of university (laureando/a) to join its Milan-based team for a four-month internship in the Public Law practice of the Milan office from October 2026.

Linklaters’ pan-European expertise is long-standing in all fields of regulatory, administrative and environmental law aspects, including State aid, public procurement as well as urban planning. Particular fields of expertise include energy (renewables and emissions trading issues), defence, infrastructure, utilities, telecommunications and real estate. Our specialists are involved in major innovative and complex transactions, advising corporates, commercial banks, public funded entities, local authorities and national governments.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • legal research and analysis

  • assisting in the preparation of memos and document review

  • supporting in drafting court documents and other legal documentation

Key requirements:

  • Law degree (currently enrolled in the fifth year);

  • Excellent academic credentials from an Italian University (please include the list of exams together with a motivation letter);

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Proficiency level in English;

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
