The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Northern Region Support Services, is looking for an Administrative Assistant 3 to help us
Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:
Join a team that helps build Alaska’s future. As the Northern Region Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a key role in attracting talented professionals who support the planning, construction and maintenance of Alaska’s transportation infrastructure.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and coordinate recruitment efforts from job posting through onboarding, helping candidates successfully navigate the hiring process.
- Serve as a trusted resource for hiring managers, applicants, and employees by providing guidance and support throughout recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Create a positive and welcoming candidate experience that reflects the Department’s commitment to public service and employee success.
- Manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with employment laws, policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Identify opportunities to improve the hiring and onboarding processes to help the Department attract and retain a highly qualified workforce.
