The Wyoming Attorney General's Office in Casper seeks an attorney to represent the Gaming Commission, Pharmacy Board, the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, and other licensing boards and commissions in prosecuting licensing and disciplinary matters before administrative tribunals and Wyoming courts. 聽As part of this position, you will prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs; perform discovery; represent boards and commissions in administrative and judicial hearings; participate in negotiations, public hearings, and client meetings; and represent licensing boards and commissions in cases on appeal to the Wyoming Supreme Court, and federal trial and appellate courts. 聽You may also review rules and regulations, and review and track legislation to advise the Governor and agency clients. 聽This position will also perform other duties assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the Attorney General's office.

- The ability to analyze complicated legal and factual issues and present issues clearly in either written or oral form. This position blends strategic counseling and litigation in a multifaceted role. The applicant should feel comfortable speaking before courts and administrative tribunals, writing letters and briefs, and advocating clients' interests.聽
- Represent the agencies in administrative and court proceedings, including the preparation of pleadings, motions, and briefs; advise clients on cases, statutes, and rules related to legal duties and responsibilities, and provide day-to-day legal advice.
- The ability to work independently, work collaboratively with agency staff, and work with other members of the Wyoming Attorney General's section of attorneys and supervisors.
