Company Overview
The Office of the Chief Legal Officer at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) provides dedicated legal support in the areas of litigation, corporate transactions, compliance, advice and counseling, and governmental affairs. We support CAA’s needs when it comes to commercial, talent agency and employment laws, among other legal areas. CAA’s Legal Operations team plays an important part in managing the agency’s processes for client onboarding, immigration proceedings, and commissions, as well as commercial transactions involving CAA generally. The Senior Paralegal – Legal Operations role supports all aspects of the Company's operational matters, negotiates various commercial and vendor agreements, and supports general departmental matters. The Senior Paralegal will strategically provide efficient and high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders, implement commercial transaction and service policies in a rapidly-growing and fast paced Company, and support the business needs of the Company, its clients and its employees.

Position Overview
The Assistant will support both our Head of Legal Operations and Counsel, Legal Operations within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer. The position leads the offices for two highly busy executives and requires someone who will be comfortable working with individuals in a variety of roles both within and outside of the agency. The Assistant’s tasks will vary, but day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate itineraries and submit monthly expense reports
File documents as needed
Handle high-volume scheduling and calls
Liaise with external attorneys and internal departments
Manage own responsibilities with minimal supervision
Provide administrative support to multiple executives
Provide research and documentation on legal matters as needed
Redline documents as needed
Resolve items that can be handled directly by an assistant
Review policies and other legal documents as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1 or more years of administrative experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Proficiency in e-signature applications (Adobe, DocuSign, etc.)
Superior communication and organizational skills

Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and with sensitivity

Location
This is an on-site role based out of our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $24.00 - $28.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
