Job Profile

Position details

The Compliance Technology and Analytics (CTA) team is responsible for delivering technical support to Core-Compliance functions. The team addresses technical requirements by developing and implementing solutions to automate manual tasks, streamline processes, and assist with the deployment of vendor platforms. In addition, CTA provides advisory services on technical matters. The candidate's primary responsibilities include understanding business requirements, translating those needs into technical deliverables, collaborating with vendors to ensure timely completion, and offering postproduction support through solution validation and issue resolution. Furthermore, the candidate is expected to communicate project progress, timelines, and any challenges encountered in an effective and timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead, organise, and facilitate meetings, teleconferences, and workshops to support regional and global technology rollouts within the compliance function.
  • Help regional/global teams to roll out strategic solutions across the region/globe by communicating with senior stakeholders and help them in completing all the necessary formalities (regional, & local) in implementing the solution. Post-implementation, proactively identifying BAU issues and work with vendor to resolve the same.
  • Support the functional teams in performing technical analysis to identify meaningful insights/patterns. Proactively discuss the observations with team, vendors and escalate it when necessary.
  • Help the business function to be audit ready by maintaining proper documentation of business requirements and every decision. Keep track of all the renewal activities related to the business function and trigger them when necessary.
  • Keep a tab of all the activities and prioritize tasks effectively, work towards completing them as per agreed timelines. Work on the deliverables with minimal supervision and proactively ask questions, and clarifications leaving no room for errors.
  • Coordinate communication with stakeholders to gather and clarify business and user requirements, resolve conflicting priorities, build consensus, secure buy-in for project timelines, and support users in drafting and executing UAT test cases, including Go-Live planning.
  • Oversee end-to-end project coordination, including status reporting, execution of work efforts, assembling project plans, monitoring team tasks, performing quality reviews, and escalating issues related to functionality, quality, or timelines, as appropriate.
  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, at high-quality standards, and meet user expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with senior management and stakeholders, building trust through active listening and delivering results.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to develop and recommend solutions to senior leadership.
  • Ability to develop models and ad hoc reports, sharing insights and recommendations with stakeholders for further action.
  • Proactive in identifying and highlighting issues, blockers along with proposals to mitigate them.
  • Ability to navigate through the problem and work with various relevant internal teams to get the issue fixed.
  • Broad-minded, highly attentive to detail, and capable of gathering, analyzing, and reporting data autonomously.
  • Experienced in configuring reports and dashboards for monthly management information reporting.
  • Demonstrates a collaborative, positive attitude, strong empathy, responsibility, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a demanding environment involving multiple teams.
  • Good to have knowledge on communication surveillance.
  • Technical proficiency in cognitive tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or M365 apps is advantageous.

Education & professional qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant discipline, with demonstrated ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables.

Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience, with substantial relevant background within the financial sector and strong expertise in banking compliance.
