Position Overview
Job Description
Harbor is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Associate Consultant with experience in implementing technology solutions to join our team. This role involves hands-on software implementation, client onboarding, issue resolution, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You’ll play a key role in bridging technical capabilities with business needs while continuously improving our support and implementation processes.
Work Location & Hours: This is a remote/hybrid position in Manila, Philippines. For the first 3-6 months, employees will align with USA business hours (9am - 5pm EST). Following these first several months, Harbor will adjust the schedule to better fit Manila hours based on long-term Harbor and client needs. The long-term schedule will be finalized after the first 9 months of employment. Also, there may also be a week of training early on, in person at the Manila office, during Manila business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support software solutions based on customer requirements.
- Engage with clients to understand their business processes and recommend suitable configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently, coordinating with technical teams as needed.
- Be open to learning new technologies, such as Luminance, Salesforce, Litify, Agiloft, Ironclad, Onit, TeamConnect, iManage, and NetDocuments to support Harbor implementation projects.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Serve as a liaison between product, engineering, and customers to advocate for user needs and product improvements.
- Contribute to the creation of documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge bases.
- Manage multiple priorities and maintain clear communication throughout implementation or support lifecycles.
- Identify areas for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience, Education and Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or Data & Analytics.
- Understanding of the implementation process including requirement analysis, design, configuration/development, migration, testing, and change management.
- Strong observational, analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
- Effective communication and storytelling skills (written and spoken).
- Excels in a cooperative team environment.
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to quickly learn and develop new skills.
- Competent in the following areas: problem solving, customer-focus, communication, collaboration and punctuality.
- Advanced computer skills (primarily Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio); familiarity with use of Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint as collaboration tools.
- Proficiency in the following technical areas: Java, Python, XML, JQUERY/JSON, REST APIs is an advantage.
- Proficiency in SQL is an advantage.
