Summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Attorney to join its growing Proposition 65 practice, part of its nationally recognized Product Liability, Mass Torts & Class Actions group. This position is a non-partnership track and is open to any US office.

Education

  • JD

Bar Admission

  • Must be admitted to the California bar and must also be admitted in the bar for the jurisdiction in which you live (if not CA)

Experience

  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm or a law firm with an equivalent practice

  • Experience with Proposition 65, consumer class action defense, consumer product regulatory counseling, complex commercial litigation and/or consumer litigation (defense) is a plus

  • California state court experience is a plus

  • Previous federal clerkship is a plus

Physical Demands
Sedentary work: This is primarily sedentary work, requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. The role involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing, and occasional travel, both domestic and international.

Work Environment-The firm's work location requirements may be modified at the firm's discretion

  • Opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement combining remote and in-office work. The specific arrangement will be determined at the time of hiring and may be modified at the firm's discretion.

Pay Transparency 

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $150,000-$250,000 per year depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
