Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Attorney Partner based in the United States.

The Attorney Partner will play a key role in managing complex litigation matters while helping shape the growth and success of a leading legal practice.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse general liability caseload, develop legal strategies, and deliver outstanding client outcomes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong litigation expertise with business development skills and a commitment to mentoring others.
Working closely with firm leadership, this role will contribute to expanding client relationships and strengthening the team’s presence in the market.

Accountabilities:

    The Attorney Partner will be responsible for leading litigation matters, developing client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice through legal excellence and strategic leadership.

    • Manage a complex caseload involving general liability litigation, including premises liability, product liability, negligent security, and personal injury defense matters.
    • Develop and execute litigation strategies from case assessment through resolution while ensuring high-quality legal representation.
    • Collaborate with firm leadership and business development teams to identify opportunities and support practice growth initiatives.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering effective communication, strategic guidance, and successful outcomes.
    • Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to junior attorneys and legal staff to foster professional growth and collaboration.
    • Contribute to the development of best practices, team processes, and a culture focused on excellence and client service.
    • Support business expansion efforts by leveraging legal expertise, industry relationships, and market knowledge.
    • Represent clients effectively in negotiations, hearings, trials, and other litigation-related proceedings.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, strong legal expertise, and the ability to balance client advocacy with business leadership responsibilities.

      • 6+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense, general liability, or related litigation matters.
      • Experience handling complex cases involving areas such as trucking, products liability, premises liability, or personal injury defense preferred.
      • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
      • Active license to practice law in Texas.
      • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, case strategy development, and legal risk assessment.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively advise clients and collaborate with stakeholders.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters while maintaining attention to detail and delivering strong results.
      • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring attorneys or legal professionals.
      • Business development mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
