Job Description

To support our team, we are currently looking for a:

Capital Markets and Banking / Regulatory Associate - German Speaker

Key Responsibilities and Challenges

  • Deliver a comprehensive range of legal services on all aspects of financial law;
  • Assist clients on complex advisory mandates/ finance transactions involving numerous participants and jurisdictions;
  • Drafting and negotiating finance documentation, demonstrating familiarity with the latest trends, precedents and market standards;
  • Providing sound commercial and legal advice to clients;
  • Contributing know-how and experience to the team;
  • Liaise with leading institutions and colleagues across other jurisdictions.

What we are looking for:

Qualification

  • European qualified lawyers with 2 to 4 years of experience as well as outstanding academic qualifications.
  • You will have a range of experience and a keen interest in non-contentious regulatory matters, capital markets, banking and/or other finance-related law.

Skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German, French would be an asset.
  • Exceptional networking skills;
  • Organisational skills;
  • Ability to communicate assertively when under pressure;
  • Ability to influence using appropriate techniques.

Characteristics

  • Commercially minded.

Commercial Skills

  • Experience of client/business relationships.
