The City of Sunrise is now offering a $3,000 RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE BONUS to internal and external candidates who successfully complete the hiring process for this position.

NATURE OF WORK 

This classification investigates and enforces regulatory ordinances related to the City landscape maintenance code.  An employee in this position receives complaints and reviews inspection reports; conducts field inspections; determines violations; prepares related citations; responds to inquiries and complaints; creates case file; generates reports; maintains database; manages City sidewalk programs; and appears in court as needed.  This position also enforces other ordinances (including county) such as licensing of tree trimmers, sight line visibility of landscape, illegal dumping, and irrigation.
