Commercial lawyer

Axiom is supporting a boutique practice seeking a senior legal professional to provide overarching support across commercial, litigation, and advisory matters. The role spans both contentious and non‑contentious work for business clients, while also contributing to the smooth operation of the firm through workflow oversight reviewing work product and supporting client relationships.As the senior presence within the team, you will act as an escalation point for day‑to‑day matters and provide steady guidance across active workstreams. The position also ensures continuity and leadership when the principal is unavailable, balancing hands‑on legal work with broader operational support.

Responsibilities:

• Provides senior oversight across commercial, litigation, and advisory matters for the firm’s business clients.
• Manages workflow and ensures the smooth progression of day‑to‑day matters within the practice.
• Reviews work product to maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency across documents and advice.
• Acts as an escalation point for routine issues and offers practical direction when challenges arise.
• Guides team members through active matters and contributes to a supportive, collaborative environment.
• Maintains continuity and leadership within the firm when the principal is unavailable, ensuring operational stability.

Requirements:
