Job Description

The Compliance Case Manager is responsible for receiving and reviewing incoming reports of possible violations of legal or internal regulations. The Case Manager accompanies the ongoing investigations and ensures appropriate consequence management. The person will work closely with ContiTech Compliance, other Central Functions, and internal and external investigators.

Your tasks will include the following activities:

 

  • Support in the implementation of an effective compliance case management system
  • Continuous and active increase in awareness and trust in the Continental whistleblower system
  • Ensuring the confidentiality, independence and expertise of the people entrusted with the information
  • Assessment of the credibility, relevance and urgency of the alerts
  • Assignment of cases to the relevant investigators or authorities
  • Ensure an ongoing overview of the progress and status of ongoing investigations
  • Evaluation of reports on the investigations
  • Compile statistics, reports and evaluation on case activities and ensure an active lessons-learned process
  • Establishment and enforcement of appropriate measures to sanction identified violations
  • Conduct training regarding the case management tool
  • Degree in law, economics, a related field or comparable qualification
  • Ideally, first professional experience in the field of compliance, data compliance, risk management or internal auditing in a corporation or an international law firm or consulting company
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and industry standards
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written), team player mentality
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Business fluent German and English, both written and spoken, as well as additional language skills desirable
  • Independent working style
  • Strong intercultural competence and team player mentality
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, advanced Excel and Power BI is a plus
