What this job involves: 

This role serves as a trusted advisor and leader overseeing the regulatory compliance framework for our dedicated healthcare client account. The Compliance Director ensures that all facilities management, operational procedures, and environment of care standards fully align with healthcare regulations, including Joint Commission, CMS, and local health department requirements. In this role, you will lead compliance audits, develop risk mitigation strategies, and foster an environment of continuous improvement and safety. By managing compliance risks and implementing robust oversight programs, you will protect patient safety and operational integrity.  

What your day-to-day will look like: 

  • Manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of the healthcare compliance program across all client facilities. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, managing audits, inspections, and reporting requirements. 

  • Collaborate with facilities management teams to ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission standards. 

  • Design and deliver compliance training programs for on-site staff, ensuring high awareness of regulatory standards and safety protocols. 

  • Analyze compliance data and key performance indicators to prepare comprehensive reports for JLL leadership and client stakeholders.

Required qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field. 

  • Minimum of 8 years of compliance or regulatory management experience within a healthcare facilities environment. 

  • In-depth knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, and OSHA regulations and standards. 

  • Proven track record of successfully managing regulatory audits and establishing compliance frameworks. 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable operational procedures. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams. 

  • We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, so strong leadership and team-building capabilities are essential. 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field. 

  • Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) credential. 

  • Experience managing compliance across multiple large-scale healthcare facilities or a regional portfolio. 

  • Advanced proficiency in compliance management software and data analytics tools.
