The role
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape a high‑impact Compliance program across ANZ and influence how a global medical technology leader operates with integrity. You will partner closely with executive leaders to protect people, patients, and the business, while enabling sustainable growth in a highly regulated environment. What you will do

  • Lead and oversee the ANZ Compliance program, ensuring alignment with global strategy while adapting to regional business needs.
  • Partner with senior leaders and the Compliance Committee to identify, assess, and mitigate material compliance risks that impact business performance.
  • Establish and reinforce a culture of ethics and integrity by setting clear expectations, governance, and accountability across leadership teams.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve compliance policies, training, and guidance to meet legal, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Implement effective compliance controls, including monitoring, auditing, third‑party oversight, and corrective action processes.
  • Analyze compliance and business metrics to inform strategy, prioritize resources, and measure program effectiveness.
  • Report regularly on compliance program status, risks, and improvement initiatives to regional and global leadership.
  • Represent the organization in relevant industry forums, incorporating external best practices and regulatory trends into program enhancements.

What you will need

Required

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including compliance experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated experience designing or leading elements of an enterprise compliance program aligned to regulatory standards and ethical codes.

Preferred

  • Graduate degree (e.g., law, business administration) or professional compliance accreditation.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and governance committees at regional or country level.
  • Experience overseeing third‑party compliance and indirect channel partner risk management.

Travel Percentage: 20%
