Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Compliance Reviewer based in the United States.

This remote role offers an opportunity to contribute to compliance and quality assurance within the agricultural insurance sector.
You will review policies and claims across a variety of crops and insurance products while ensuring adherence to established requirements.
The position combines detailed analysis, independent judgment, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with reviewers, supervisors, adjusting teams, agents, and insured parties to resolve questions and complete reviews accurately.
The role provides exposure to Risk Management Agency rules, federal crop insurance regulations, and internal compliance procedures.
It is well suited to a detail-oriented professional who enjoys investigating information, solving problems, and managing multiple priorities.

Accountabilities:

    • Conduct compliance reviews across various crops, policy types, and review assignments, ensuring all required information and documentation is obtained and accurately assessed.
    • Consult with external parties to gather documentation and clarify information needed to complete reviews, while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors regarding procedural questions, complex cases, and issues requiring escalation or additional guidance.
    • Apply sound independent judgment when handling complex reviews and escalate matters appropriately when additional expertise or oversight is required.
    • Follow established compliance workflows, procedures, and review standards while efficiently managing assigned workloads and meeting required deadlines.
    • Coordinate with adjusting teams on Conflict of Interest (COI), Growing Season Inspections (GSI), High Dollar Reviews, and other claim-related review requirements.
    • Alert appropriate adjusting staff when claims are under review and maintain complete, accurate documentation within the policy processing system.
    • Monitor the Compliance Register to support the timely assignment and completion of reviews.
    • Maintain working knowledge of Risk Management Agency requirements, federal crop insurance regulations, and applicable internal procedures.
    • Provide responsive customer service and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders throughout the review process.
    • Participate actively in assigned training, education, and professional development programs to maintain qualified reviewer status.
    • Contribute to special projects and perform other related duties as required.
    • Requirements:

      • Two or more years of experience in crop insurance or agriculture is preferred but not required.
      • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies, evaluate information, and make sound decisions.
      • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills for working effectively with diverse stakeholders.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when handling confidential or sensitive information.
      • Advanced organizational and time-management abilities, with proven capacity to manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines.
      • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in daily operations.
      • Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with the confidence to ask questions, investigate issues, and identify practical solutions.
      • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
      • Strong work ethic and reliability, with a commitment to meeting service, quality, and productivity expectations.
      • Willingness and ability to learn and apply regulatory requirements, internal procedures, and industry-specific compliance standards.
