Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Contract Attorney / Legal Analyst based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of law, technology, and high-velocity commercial growth within a rapidly scaling AI-driven organization. You will be responsible for supporting the legal backbone of a fast-growing SaaS business by reviewing, negotiating, and structuring commercial agreements that enable enterprise deals to move efficiently. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly execution-focused, requiring strong judgment, precision, and the ability to balance legal risk with business speed. You will work closely with sales, compliance, and leadership teams to ensure contracts are both commercially viable and legally sound. The role also involves building scalable contract processes and templates to support continued growth. This is an opportunity to directly influence deal velocity and legal infrastructure in a cutting-edge AI company operating at global scale.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own and streamline the contract lifecycle while ensuring legal accuracy, compliance alignment, and business enablement across commercial deals. You will:

    • Review, redline, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and BAAs
    • Respond quickly and accurately to customer-requested contract modifications while balancing legal risk and business needs
    • Draft, maintain, and improve reusable contract templates for commercial, reseller, and partner agreements
    • Advise internal teams on data privacy obligations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
    • Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure contractual alignment with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks
    • Support deal execution by participating in customer legal discussions and accelerating contract turnaround times
    • Help design and optimize scalable legal workflows and contract management processes
    • Requirements:

This role requires strong expertise in commercial contracting within a SaaS or technology environment, combined with the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup setting. You should bring:

      • 3+ years of experience in commercial law, SaaS agreements, or technology transactions (law firm or in-house)
      • Strong hands-on experience drafting and negotiating NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and BAAs at scale
      • Solid understanding of data privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and SCCs
      • Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 as they relate to contractual obligations
      • Proven ability to create contract templates and improve legal documentation from scratch
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong attention to detail and clarity
      • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
      • Experience with SaaS, AI, or high-growth tech companies is a strong plus
      • Familiarity with HIPAA, reseller agreements, or AI/voice technology is advantageous
      • Experience using AI tools to enhance legal workflows is a plus
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive hourly compensation of $35โ€“$40 USD (1099 contract)
        • Fully remote role with global collaboration opportunities
        • Long-term, ongoing engagement (not project-based)
        • Exposure to cutting-edge AI and SaaS business models at high scale
        • Opportunity to directly influence deal velocity and commercial growth
        • Flexible, high-impact role with ownership over contract processes
        • Collaboration with fast-moving sales, compliance, and leadership teams
        • Opportunity to work on complex, high-value enterprise agreements
