Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Contracts, Records & Ops Supervisor, located in São Paulo, Brazil or Santiago, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth execution of contracts, records management, and operational processes within Commercial Excellence (Education sub-function). The Supervisor will lead and support activities that enable efficient contract administration, compliance, and operational excellence while partnering with cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to drive consistency, improve processes, and directly support high-quality healthcare education initiatives across the region. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Oversee preparation and coordination of contract and bid documentation, ensuring appropriate approvals and compliance requirements are met. 
• Collect, review, and analyze technical, financial, and legal information to support contracting processes and decision-making. 
• Collaborate closely with legal, finance, commercial, and education teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of agreements. 
• Manage contract records and ensure all contract-related data is accurately maintained in designated systems. 
• Monitor supplier/vendor performance and service level agreements, identifying improvement opportunities and driving follow-up actions. 
• Supervise operational processes such as requisition creation, purchase orders, invoice resolution, and contract lifecycle activities. 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing trends and identifying efficiencies in contract and operational workflows. 
• Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on contracting processes, policies, and tools. 
 

 

Qualifications 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Healthcare, or related field) 
• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent) preferred 

Experience and Skills: 

Required:  

• Relevant experience in contract administration, operations, procurement, or commercial support 
• Experience working with contract lifecycle processes, including documentation, approvals, and compliance 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, legal, and operational data 
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, finance, commercial) 
• Experience managing or coordinating operational processes such as purchase orders, invoicing, and records management 
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills 

Preferred:  

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience 
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or education-related environments 
• Knowledge of contract management systems and ERP platforms 
• Continuous improvement or process optimization experience (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma exposure) 
• Familiarity with vendor management and performance monitoring practices 
• Experience supporting commercial excellence or training/education initiatives 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

 

Other: 

• Language: Fluency in Portuguese required; proficiency in English preferred 
• Travel: Up to 10–15% domestic travel may be required 
• Certifications: Contract management or procurement certifications preferred (e.g., CPCM, CIPS)
