We offer a competitive starting salary of €68,600.00 for this role, with salary adjustments reflecting your experience level and expertise.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

  • Qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) or Chartered Tax Consultant (CTC) with a strong technical foundation in corporate tax compliance.

  • Proven record for service excellence and in managing a growing team of tax professionals.

  • Strong project management, organisational, and analytical skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to efficient and effective performance.

Success in the Role

  • Lead and manage a diverse client portfolio of medium to complex compliance, including tax provisioning and reporting.

  • Build trusted client relationships and engage with clients on key tax law changes and their impact on tax liabilities and reporting obligations.

  • Correspond with Revenue on Compliance Intervention Notifications and collaborate with Deloitte offices globally on compliance engagements.

  • Research tax technical compliance matters and contribute to tax technology and transformation initiatives.

  • Identify cross-selling opportunities

  • Mentor and develop our junior team members, assist with training programs, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting their career progression.

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Reviewing and managing corporate tax compliance engagements and ensuring quality reviews.

  • Client interaction, including explaining tax law changes and corresponding with Revenue authorities.

  • Focus on strategic initiatives such as tax technology implementation, process improvement, and strategic evolution of the Global Delivery Service Model.

  • Mentoring, training, strategic planning, and contributing to tax technology and transformation initiatives.
