The Grays Harbor County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking resumes from highly motivated and qualified individuals to fill a Criminal Deputy Prosecuting Attorney position. Duties may include prosecution of Juvenile Court, and/or Superior Court cases. The deputy prosecutor may be assigned based on qualification and experience, as a juvenile deputy, felony deputy.
NOTE: Depending upon qualifications, the successful applicant will be placed at a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney II classification or Sr. Deputy Prosecuting Attorney I or II classification
Under the direction of the Prosecuting Attorney, the Deputy Prosecuting Attorney will provide legal representation to prosecute a broad range of difficult and complex criminal cases in Juvenile, and/or Superior Court including bench and jury trials of felonies, gross misdemeanors and violations that occur in Grays Harbor County.
Appointment to the position and requirements of the position are in accordance with RCW 36.27.040.
