Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Governance Officer to join our dynamic team at MashreqBank Egypt, specifically in the Egypt-SMEs-NeoBiz department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a strong control environment and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your responsibilities will include risk management, customer experience governance, and regulatory alignment, all while collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and improve our operational risk and control processes.
  • Maintain a consistent control environment and ensure data validation for customer applications on Camunda.
  • Promote compliance and operational excellence across all Camunda processes.
  • Conduct risk management and identify potential risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Engage with stakeholders to evaluate and analyze the business's operational risk and control measures.
  • Review and update operating procedures, ensuring alignment with regulations and control frameworks.
  • Track and manage open audit findings, working towards timely closures.
  • Ensure data cleansing and document renewal tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Conduct end-to-end completeness checks on customer applications, ensuring all sections are reviewed.
  • Monitor and analyze digital processes and customer journeys to identify compliance and conduct risks.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the banking or financial industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards, especially in the Egyptian market.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in using Camunda or similar workflow management tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and documentation review processes.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with evolving regulations and industry trends.
