Job Description

Are you detail oriented and motivated by ensuring fiscal accuracy, timely reporting, and smooth financial operations? And are you ready for a project-based opportunity where you will play a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting the agency through a major state-wide accounting system transition? If this sounds like you, the role of Fiscal Analyst 3 at the Department of Retirement Systems may be the ideal next step in your career!

This is a project role funded through June 2027 with the potential to be extended based on the project needs.   This recruitment will remain open until filled. Applicants who apply by 8:00 am (PST) on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, will get first consideration.
Interviews will be in person at our Tumwater Office and will be scheduled on July 1 and 2. 
The hiring manager reserves the right to make a hiring decision at any time during the recruitment process.
Please note: The salary advertised includes the general wage increase that will be in-effect July 1, 2026.
