BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Revenue Analysis (ORA). The purpose of this position is to collaborate with other analysts and technical experts in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues/studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations. 聽Duties include, but are not limited to: 聽conducting analysis of the economic base of the District of Columbia, as well as the analysis of tax expenditures and foregone revenues, the potential revenue produced by the economy, changes in policy options, and/or long-term financial expectations; leading complex research teams and utilizing the findings to produce documents for presentation to the District of Columbia and other government agencies, staffing committees, commissions and other groups and performing independent project management actions; formatting findings for use by Congress, the Government of the District of Columbia, other government agencies or the private sector in hearings, briefings, and in other uses; and maintaining collaboration among economists, operational researchers, public analysts, and government, academic and private sector officials in order to complete above duties. Performs other related duties as assigned.
