Job Description:
Examples of Work
- Monitors and examines gaming industry operations and activities including but not limited to: machine testing, revenue drops and counts, revenue reports, delivery and removal of gaming equipment, and movement of slot machines and gaming equipment.
- Conducts audits on Minimum Internal Control Standards and Internal Control Standards.
- Monitors the gaming floor to ensure no underage or self-excluded individuals are gambling or present on the gaming floor and collaborates with Enforcement division on next steps.
- Reviews casino promotions and Internal Control Standards changes.
- Oversees chip and table layout destructions.
- Embraces additional responsibilities as needed to support the Commission’s evolving needs.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in criminal justice, accounting, or gaming related field or two years of appropriate work experience in the field of compliance in a gaming facility, security, or surveillance at a technical level; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of experience examining, inspecting, auditing, conducting quality control, or similar work. Gaming-related coursework or degree can include public or business administration, compliance, finance, law, or similar.
Other: This position requires occasional travel. As such, the incumbent must have a valid driver’s license. Regular and reliable onsite attendance is required. **NRGC employees are prohibited from gambling or placing a wager in any establishment licensed by the Commission.**
