Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Actively participates in the internal audit program as Auditor or Lead Auditor.
Performs walk-throughs in manufacturing, staging, and warehouse areas in order to assure compliance based on the internal procedure and established regulatory requirements.
Actively participates in the preparation activities for Third Party and Corporate Audits.
Execution of effectiveness verifications of internal or external audits.
Execution of administrative functions related to compliance department (meeting coordination, budget control and supplies requisition).
Assists in the implementation of Corporate, Divisional, and Plant policies and procedures related to quality auditing, audit management, corrective and preventive actions, and compliance to Quality System
Regulation (GMP), and ISO 13485.
Tracks and analyze trends of Quality Indicators.
Participates in the reception and coordination of external audits.
Prepares reports of the status of all quality audits monthly, quarterly, or as needed audits.
Provides mentoring to new personnel in the Internal Audits processes.
Maintains information and records of internal and external Audits, including reports, evidence and follow up.
Education and Experience:
Completed Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering area, Quality, or similar experience, preferably.
2 years in similar quality position, preferably.
2 - 3 years knowledge and experience in a medical device or a regulated industry preferably
Good Computer skills, Report Writing, and MS-Office package experience.
Preferably certified as Quality Auditor or Quality Engineer by the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
Member of ASQ association, preferably.
Desirable: Knowledge in IT systems as to database systems.
Desirable: Knowledge in CAD software (SolidWorks, Corel Draw).

Upper Intermediate
