Job Description
Dentons Bratislava is looking for a Junior Advokát to join its IP and Technology practice. You will advise on intellectual property protection, technology licensing, and IT contracts from our Bratislava office, supporting Slovakia's growing technology sector and the increasing digitalization of traditional industries.
This role involves handling trademark and patent matters before the Úrad priemyselného vlastníctva SR (Industrial Property Office), drafting software licensing agreements, and advising on the legal framework for AI, e-commerce, and digital services under the Slovak Zákon o elektronickom obchode.
Responsibilities
Handle trademark and patent filings before the Slovak Industrial Property Office and EUIPO. Draft and negotiate software licensing, SaaS, and IT outsourcing agreements. Advise on e-commerce regulations and digital services under Slovak law. Support IP due diligence for M&A transactions. Research AI regulation and emerging technology legal frameworks. Assist with domain name disputes and online brand protection.
Requirements
Newly qualified SAK Advokát or advokátsky koncipient with 1-3 years of IP or technology law experience. Knowledge of Slovak and EU IP law, including trademark, patent, and copyright legislation. Familiarity with software licensing and technology contracts. Fluent Slovak and English.
