Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice to Finance, HR, Sourcing, ExA, and other functional teams on various legal matters related to procurement, contracts, labor and employment, privacy, interactions with HCPs, and other relevant areas.

  • Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support the team in resolving legal issues and mitigating risks.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to localization processes and other Danaher China strategies.

  • Manage claims, disputes, mediations, litigation, and arbitrations, as assigned.

  • Assist the General Counsel with project developments and matters in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law; a master’s degree or JD is preferred.

  • PRC Bar qualification is required.

  • Minimum of five years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience in a multinational company.

  • Strong knowledge of PRC commercial, corporate, and compliance laws.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the medical device, life sciences, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.

  • Familiarity with global compliance programs and experience working in a multinational corporate environment.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives.
