The Role
Part of the global legal team, you will act as Legal Assistant, Contracts in China and also support other Asia regions. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with high integrity and will be able to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an upbeat and customer-focused attitude. You will also enjoy working collaboratively with other team members both inside and outside the Legal team and are able to communicate effectively at all levels.What You’ll Do
- Maintain legal filing and corporate secretarial affairs to ensure business administration and regulatory alignment
- Assist in monitoring the latest laws, regulations and industry policies to ensure business compliance
- Conduct legal research and assessments; provide practical advice to mitigate commercial exposure
- Review/identify issues in commercial contracts
- Support other ad-hoc legal tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 1-2 years of experience in an in-house legal department or a law firm
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, reliable and a strong team player
Nice to Have
- Overseas education is preferred
- Passed the PRC Bar Examination is preferred
- Experience in IT, SaaS, or Software industry is preferred
