About the role  

Lead the design and delivery of technology-enabled business solutions across Legal, CARE and Corporate Relations. Partner with business leaders to simplify processes, implement AI and digital products, and deliver measurable business value through product ownership, transformation and continuous improvement.

• Partner with Legal, CARE and Corporate Relations leaders to identify opportunities to simplify and improve business processes.
• Own the product roadmap and business backlog for Legal technology and digital capabilities.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into solution designs and delivery plans.
• Drive AI enablement by identifying, prioritising and delivering high-value automation and AI use cases.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of Legal technology platforms including contract lifecycle management, document automation, workflow, knowledge management and collaboration tools.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Information Security and Data Privacy teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Develop business cases, investment proposals and benefits realisation plans for new capabilities.
• Manage strategic technology partners and implementation vendors.
• Define success measures, monitor adoption and continuously improve products based on business feedback.
• Build trusted relationships across Legal leadership, Legal Operations, GBS and Digital & Technology.

You will help shape the future of Legal technology at Diageo by leading AI-enabled transformation, influencing strategic investments and delivering solutions used by Legal teams globally.

Experience/skills required:  

• Experience leading business transformation, product management or business solutions within a complex global organisation.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technology solutions.
• Experience delivering enterprise SaaS or digital transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of AI, workflow automation and modern productivity platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Desirable

• Experience working with Legal Operations or Corporate Functions.
• Knowledge of Legal technology platforms (e.g. CLM, Matter Management, eBilling etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise or other enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience evaluating technology vendors and Buy vs Build decisions.
• Agile or Product Management certification.
