Job Description

Your Mission at CGM: As a leading provider of software solutions for healthcare, we operate in 19 countries and employ nearly 9,000 dedicated professionals. You will work in a dynamic and innovative environment, filled with exciting opportunities. With your commitment and passion, you’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact.

CGM Leverages AI: We are looking for people who are inspired by the power of AI in eHealth, eager to shape transformation, and curious at heart—ready to see how technology can make healthcare smarter, easier, and better.

Together, we are shaping the future of healthcare. Become part of our mission and make a difference—for a world where knowledge saves lives!

Are you passionate about forward-thinking products? Do you have the talent to turn ideas into real, value-driven solutions while always keeping the bigger picture in mind? Then we are looking for you!

Your Contribution:

  • Collaborate closely with the Global General Counsel and the M&A team to shape and guide CGM’s future international M&A activities.

  • Serve as the legal focal point for national and international mergers, reorganizations, and group-wide corporate law matters, ensuring compliance and expert guidance—including oversight of the Annual General Meeting.

  • Provide high-quality, independent legal advice to the holding company, subsidiaries, management, and employees on diverse corporate law and related legal issues.

  • Apply your expertise in legal project management by advising on and overseeing major IT tenders and implementation projects.

  • Contribute to the development of legal strategies, concepts, guidelines, and operational instructions for the entire CGM Group, helping drive efficiency and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • A proven track record as a fully qualified German lawyer (m/f/d), with more than ten years of top-tier experience in national and international M&A transactions and outstanding expertise in general corporate law. Additional proficiency in IT law—including IT project implementation, software development, and public procurement—is a strong advantage.

  • Experience at leading law firms paired with significant periods as in-house counsel at global technology companies demonstrates your ability to deliver results within complex, high-stake environments.

  • Flawless academic credentials: a combined score of at least 18 points from both German Legal State Exams is essential; international qualifications or an MBA add further distinction.

  • Exceptional strategic and conceptual abilities combined with a deep interest in economic and business issues. You are not just a negotiator—you are a solution-oriented force, optimizing both the likelihood and the outcome of any deal.

  • Independence, commitment, pragmatism, quick thinking, charisma, and relentless focus on solutions distinguish you from your peers. Fluency in German and English enables you to communicate effectively across borders, internally and externally.

What You Can Expect from Us:

  • Training and development opportunities: Benefit from tailored training programs and individual development opportunities that help you continuously expand your expertise and stay at the forefront of your field. We invest in your future to collaboratively develop innovative solutions in healthcare.

  • Attractive locations with vibrant communities: Our appealing locations are characterized by humanity and solidarity. Here, we offer ergonomic workspaces and celebrate our successes with various events.

  • Purpose and mission: Become part of a significant mission by helping to shape the future of e-health at the intersection of healthcare and digitalization.

  • Events: Be part of exciting internal events and activities that regularly take place both on-site and remotely. Here, you can network, exchange ideas, and benefit from interactions with other experts in the industry to grow together.

  • Creative freedom: Get involved in exciting projects and actively shape them. We also offer you diverse opportunities for professional development and long-term perspectives.
