Airbus Helicopters is looking for a motivated and dynamic Legal Counsel (m/f) - Ethics & Compliance with a positive mindset and efficient approach to join the Legal & Compliance Department based in Marignane, France. To learn more about our site and our activities: Airbus Helicopters - Marignane

Reporting to the Head of Ethics & Compliance, you will be joining a team of [8], and contributing to the overall activities of the team in an environment that seeks to foster collaboration, efficiency, inclusion and collegiality.

Your main missions:

As a key member of the Legal & Compliance function, your role is built around the 3 fundamental pillars:

  • Advisory & Business Support: Be a pragmatic and trusted partner in the management of Ethics & Compliance risks and opportunities on both civil and military markets working in close collaboration with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Finance and Export Control. 

  • Third-Party Due Diligence: Contribute to the Third Parties Management process for Airbus Helicopters’ Sales Intermediaries, Lobbyists & Special Advisors, Channel Partners, Suppliers and Customers.

  • Gift & Hospitality, Sponsorship, Donation and Corporate Membership analysis

  • Review of the KYC/KYS Ethics & Compliance alerts

  • Training & Culture: With dynamism and creativity, contribute to deliver specialized training sessions to Airbus Helicopters’ employees/ third parties and promote a "Compliance’ culture across the Company. 

Your profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the practice of Business Law, specialization in Ethics & Compliance is a plus. 

  • Business partnering: Customer-oriented mindset and ability to translate legal requirements into pragmatic legal advice to the business. 

  • Communication: Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Agility & execution: Adaptability in your ways of working to ensure timely client support in a constantly evolving and demanding environment.

  • Ownership & initiative: Autonomy (i.e. having a sense of ownership for your responsibilities) and proactiveness (anticipate questions/issues and alert when appropriate).

  • Integrity & collaboration: High ethical standards and professional integrity. Team spirit and collaborative approach to working.

  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and French is mandatory.

  • Digital Tools: Proficiency in digital tools is essential as well as a demonstrated ability to embrace and adapt to digital transformation initiatives within a legal environment.
