The Position
Are you ready to ensure that life-saving medicines successfully make it from the lab to patients worldwide? As a Legal Counsel - Global Pharma Technical Operations & Facilities, you will join a highly collaborative, global team of experts providing proactive legal support to our manufacturing and supply backbone. In this role, you will be trusted to advise on high-stakes, strategic matters that directly support our company’s global ambition to prevent, stop, and cure diseases.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will serve as an individual contributor providing business-focused legal support and strategic counseling. You can expect to:
Provide strategic legal advice and business-focused counseling to the Pharma Technical Operations (PT) and Direct Procurement organizations.
Draft and negotiate complex agreements, including manufacturing, supply, and development contracts key to our global operations.
Act as the primary legal point of contact for technical operations and facility matters during large, high-stakes transactions.
Develop and implement legal strategies for the global business by collaborating closely with other lawyers, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership.
Advise on regulatory and compliance matters under Swiss and EU legislation, with a focus on current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and quality systems.
Manage outside counsel retained to support specific global legal matters.

Who you are
You are a proactive, confident professional who views change as an opportunity and is committed to driving continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, you bring:
Legal Excellence: A passed Bar Exam and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience within an international law firm or the legal department of a multinational group.
Industry Expertise: Prior legal experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors, with a strong understanding of drug manufacturing processes, cGMP regulations, and technical compliance.
Strong Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a high level of cross-cultural sensitivity, and a dedicated team-player attitude.
Business & Negotiation Acumen: Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, paired with a results-oriented approach to resolving complex technical and legal issues.
Language Skills: Fluency in business-level English is required; knowledge of German or other languages is considered a distinct asset.
