PDVSA (Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A.) is hiring a Legal Counsel, Hydrocarbons based in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Support the energy group's legal team on oil and gas matters in Zulia.
Responsibilities
- Advise on the Ley Organica de Hidrocarburos
- Negotiate operating and service contracts
- Manage joint-venture and regulatory matters
- Support contract administration with operators
Requirements
- Licenciatura en Derecho from an accredited Venezuelan university.
- Admission as an abogado (registered with a Colegio de Abogados and INPREABOGADO).
- 5+ years energy/contracts
- Technical-contracts and English skills
