Job Description

About the Role

This isn't your typical privacy counsel role. We're looking for a bold, creative privacy attorney who thrives at the cutting edge of law, business, technology, and data. Our attorneys tackle big, complex challenges — from consumer privacy to artificial intelligence governance — and you'll be right in the middle of the action. You won't be starting from scratch — we've built strong privacy and compliance programs, and we need someone who can take them to the next level.

As a trusted go-to business partner, you'll deliver strategic legal guidance on privacy, emerging technologies, risk, compliance, and AI governance that directly shapes how we innovate. If you're someone who combines sharp legal instincts with strong business acumen and wants to leave a real mark on how a global company navigates the AI revolution, this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

Be a go-to advisor for business partners navigating global, state, and federal privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging AI laws. Elevate and evolve our established privacy programs that power enterprise-wide compliance strategies. Support privacy and data security due diligence efforts with confidence and precision. Shape technology product development and commercial operations — including rolling up your sleeves on commercial contracting when needed. Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.

Take on new challenges as they arise — because in this role, no two days look the same.

What You Bring

  • J.D. from an accredited law school is required, along with active bar membership in good standing (or regional equivalent).
  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in an in-house law department, with at least 1 year focused on privacy law.
  • Management experience is a plus but not required.
  • Authorization to work in the applicable jurisdiction is required.
  • CIPP certifications are preferred.

What Sets You Apart

You've built real expertise in data governance, technology product counseling, privacy, compliance strategy development, and commercial operations. You have solid working knowledge of global privacy frameworks and a knack for translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business guidance. That's what will make you a standout candidate here. You've helped optimize and scale existing programs to meet evolving business needs.
