Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) Legal Practice Coordinator. The TMT Legal Practice Coordinator is responsible for providing a broad range of high level administrative and legal support to the Firm’s TMT practice group in an environment where superior client service is emphasized. This position routinely engages with Practice Group attorneys, legal professionals and firm staff and provides analytical and project management support. The TMT Legal Practice Coordinator II is also responsible for those projects delegated to them by the Legal Practice Support Management Team, the Senior Paralegal Specialist – TMT, and TMT Practice Group Attorneys.

Key responsibilities include:
Assist in handling electronic filing of documents at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), other federal agencies, state public utility commissions as well as regulatory authorities in other countries
Assist in maintenance of specific client data vital for filings at the FCC and other regulatory agencies and provide support in the management of practice group data and filing systems
Assist in the review and electronic distribution of weekly and other practice group updates on new legal and regulatory developments, ensuring timely and accurate communication to clients
Assist attorneys with research, preparation and review of various documents, including, but not limited to, in the context of document productions
Establish, organize, and maintain manual and electronic matter and client files and databases
Liaise with the Firm’s Marketing and Business Departments in support of practice group webinars and other client-facing events on relevant telecommunications regulatory and other related topics affecting the telecommunications industry
Support practice group initiatives related to business development, marketing, practice group training, and client engagement
Coordinate and participate in day-to-day client and practice management
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and qualifications:
A bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; and 5 years of professional experience preferred; professional services industry experience a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, West Check. Knowledge and proficiency is preferred in FCC Databases, State Commissions Websites, Secretary of State, Other State Agencies. CoCounsel Core, other AI Certification a plus. Knowledge and proficiency in the following Electronic Filing Databases: FCC, State Commissions E-Filing Portals, Secretary of State, Other State Agencies.
Strong proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills to prioritize work
Self-starter with a professional demeanor and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals with differing opinions and diverse personalities
Ability to work well under pressure in a collaborative team environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

For positions in Washington, D.C., the salary range for this position is: $75,400.00 - $120,550.00.
The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
