Job Description
Hoet Peláez Castillo & Duque is hiring a Litigation & Arbitration Associate based in Caracas, Venezuela. Represent clients in commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings under the Codigo de Procedimiento Civil
- Manage arbitration under the Ley de Arbitraje Comercial
- Prepare witnesses and evidence for hearings
- Support investor-state and cross-border disputes
Requirements
- Licenciatura en Derecho from an accredited Venezuelan university.
- Admission as an abogado (registered with a Colegio de Abogados and INPREABOGADO).
- 2 to 5 years in disputes
- Strong advocacy and drafting
