Job Description
The Nevada DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (DCFS) is recruiting for a Clinical Program Manager I, located at the Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility - North (PRTF North), a 16-bed, staff secure mental health treatment facility for youth age 12 to 17 located in Sparks, NV. Sparks is a growing suburb of Reno with an exceptional quality of life. With some of the most majestic views in Nevada and an abundance of recreational activities in the Reno/Tahoe area, Sparks is an outdoor paradise! The Clinical Program Manager I is responsible for the overall operational, clinical, and administrative leadership of a specialized 16-bed psychiatric treatment facility. The Manager provides direct supervision to a multidisciplinary team, oversees the delivery of evidence-based care, and ensures strict compliance with state regulations, and accreditation standards. The clinical Program Manager I will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate a diverse team of Mental Health Counselors, nursing staff, a Psychiatric Case Worker, and Mental Health Technicians. This is a full time position with an anticipated work schedule of 9a-6p, Monday through Friday that includes a variable work agreement with overtime after 40 hours per week. ย The State of Nevada and DCFS offer an excellent benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance, participation in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), accrual of 15 days of annual and 15 days of sick leave, 11 paid holidays and no city, county, state or social security tax! DCFS also encourages education by providing on-going trainings and paid release time for staff to obtain CEU's.
