About your team :

Our regulatory reporting team ensures timely and accurate reporting to our bank and our clients by identifying and processing all necessary data and requirements. The team is responsible for all aspects of FIL Fondsbank's (FFB) regulatory reporting, including at the group level, as well as for regulatory reporting on behalf of its clients. This includes the regular monthly, quarterly, and annual submission of reports. The timely and accurate submission of all regulatory reports is a core responsibility of the bank.

About your role :

As part of our motivated team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory reporting issues and make a significant impact on the long-term success of our bank.

You will work very closely with internal teams such as Financial Accounting, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit or Operations as well as external stakeholders like auditors or regulators. This includes the following key responsibilities:

  • Developing a sound understanding of the banks business model and the key factors influencing the regulatory reporting environment
  • Timely and independent preparation of regulatory reports, including the necessary reconciliations and cross-checks as well as the provision of data for internal reports
  • Supporting projects for the implementation of regulatory, systemic or product-related changes
  • Reviewing and testing new releases of the regulatory reporting tool and documenting the implementation
  • Continuously developing of your own technical, commercial and personal skills

About you:

You are a suitable candidate for the role if you have/are:

  • At least 2 years experience of regulatory reporting in the banking, financial services or auditing environment.
  • Good understanding and experience of the German and European regulatory reporting regulation applicable in the banking industry (KWG, HGB, CRR, EBA COREP and FINREP, AnaCredit, statistical guideline)
  • Knowledge of the regulatory reporting system ABACUS/A360 is very helpful.
  • An understanding of accounting in accordance with German GAAP, including its impact on the reporting system.
  • Dedicated to accuracy and quality, with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, analytical ability, and able to prioritise in a multi-task environment and meet deadlines while working in a high pressure environment.
  • A pro-active team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in German and conversational in English is required
