Team Overview

The Trust and Safety team at Coupang is responsible for curbing fraud and abuse and thereby improving customer and sellers trust on the platform, while ensuring that genuine customers/ sellers get the best of experiences. Trust and Safety team develops policies and standards, provides appropriate guidance, and helps to implement and monitor controls to identify and mitigate risks across the platform. The team partners with business and operations to design products, services and controls which reduce fraud and risk vulnerabilities, and govern the process by measuring, monitoring, and reporting fraud risks. 

Role Overview  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trust & Safety Compliance Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet all Trust and safety compliance standards. You will develop audit programs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in Trust & Safety compliance practices. 

What You Will Do 

Audit Programs and Execution: 

Develop and execute comprehensive audit programs to assess trust and safety compliance. 

Conduct on-site and remote compliance audits for trust and safety compliance.   

Review and analyze audit findings, identifying non-compliance issues and opportunities for improvement. 

Stay up-to date with relevant policies, procedures and SOPs 

 

Collaboration: 

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including fraud operation teams, product teams, quality assurance, supply chain and legal to address compliance issues and drive corrective actions. 

Communicate audit findings and recommendations to stakeholders. 

 

Reporting and Documentation: 

Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations. 

Maintain accurate and organized audit records and documentation. 

 

Continuous Improvement: 

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance trust and safety compliance processes. 

Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and preventive measures. 

  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred. 
  • 6 years of experience in trust and safety compliance auditing 
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality audit outcomes.
