Mid-Level / Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer

Need a change? Willing to be a member of the dynamic and fast-expanding Luxembourg-based team of an international business law firm? We are looking for: a Mid level / Senior Banking & Finance lawyer.

YOUR ROLE

• Advise financial institutions and investment funds on a wide range of fund finance transactions;
• Work on cross-border financing transactions, covering secured and unsecured lending, with a strong interaction between banking and funds structures;
• Draft, review and negotiate key finance documentation (facility agreements, security packages, intercreditor arrangements, etc.);
• Support the structuring, execution and closing of complex financing deals, liaising with different stakeholders (clients, intermediaries, internal teams);
• Provide legal advice on Luxembourg law aspects of finance and fund finance transactions in particular, including structuring considerations and regulatory constraints;
• Conduct legal research and deliver commercial, pragmatic advice on complex banking & finance matters;
• Take an active role in client relationship development and contribute to business development initiatives;
• Mentor and support junior lawyers where appropriate.

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent);
• Admission to the Luxembourg Bar or any other European Bar;
• 5–7 years’ experience in a Banking & Finance or Financing Transactions team, ideally in Luxembourg;
• Exposure to fund finance and/or investment funds environment (strong asset);
• Admitted to the Luxembourg Bar or another European Bar;
• Strong understanding of financing structures and fund-related transactions;
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to provide clear and practical advice on complex topics;
• Fluent in English; French is a strong asset (German or other languages considered a plus);
• Proactive, team-oriented and business-minded mindset.
